Where Dudes Get Groomed

With men’s haircuts being ridiculously overpriced in Manhattan, it’s nice to come across a shop where you can get a cool and modern cut for a reasonable price. Frank’s Chop Shop is one part old fashioned barber shop and one part neighborhood hangout. The overall vibe is masculine without being oafish and sophisticated without being pretentious. The barbers themselves are masters of their craft and are just as versed in rock and roll shags as they are in fades. All this and they offer a reasonably priced straight razor shave to boot! Cool music, tattooed barbers, cute girls at the front desk… what’s not to like? Frank’s Chop Shop is rapidly becoming an essential stop-in spot on the Lower East Side for the modern Manhattan dude.
